The artist that I have chosen for Week 1 is Susan Lukas. She is a photographer and graphic designer, using Photoshop often blending several images together before reaching her final product. She often starts with a sketch or a photo and then finds other photos that blend in or takes additional photos.
The artist describes her impressionist style as bright, happy and provides a respite to viewers from the dark and often harsh life. Many of her photographs are taken in Wisconsin where she works and teaches various photography classes.
The pieces I have chosen are “Say It with Flowers” and “End of the Earth”.

ReplyDeleteBoth of these pieces are beautiful. The last one seems kind of scary but i would love to jump off and go swimming haha (hopefully its a foggy summer night)
