The piece of art I choose this week was Stefano Menicagli;
he lives in Tuscany, Italy. Stefano
started with photography of different kinds of figurative and abstract images
prior to discovering digital manipulation.
He uses Photoshop to create his art work.
This piece of art is titled Mysterious face. I love the colors Stafano used to create this
piece. The woman in the picture looks
like she is looking into my soul; her eyes are piercing. The picture
looks like the artist took paint a splattered a canvas because the manipulation
of Photoshop.
Nice choice... he really pushed for a painterly effect. There is little evidence of the original photograph left.
