 Drawn and painted art Myriam Lozada-Jarvis Painting My Garden

Myriam Lozada-Jarvis received a BFA degree in painting and mixed media from the School of Visual Arts, New York, in 1981, and an MFA from Hunter College, New York, in 1984. Her training and early work were in traditional art but the advent of the computer brought her a new, fresh, different and vital means of expression. Myriam's art is mostly drawn and painted. Myriam currently lives in Las Cruces New Mexico with her husband who is also an artist by the name of JD Jarvis. Myriam states that enjoys recording bits and pieces of her life experiences and incorporates taste, smell and sensual pleasure in her and she uses it as a way to connect with the world. Myriam creartive work and paintings have been exhibited widely.
