Week 4 Moca: Museum of Art Masanta

For week four I have selected to write about Masanta; she is a Japanese artist that studied graphic design at Japan Designers College in Tokyo.  She continued to study graphic design at the Setsu Mode Seminar for 18 months.  Her art is described as warm, humorous, and sunny.  Even though her subjects are poison, traps, prey, and tears.
She has won many awards for her art that has been widely exhibited.  Masanta uses Photoshop, Illustrator, Macromedia Fontographer, pen, acrylic colors, mixed media.  When I look at this piece of work it reminds me of a children’s story.  It is very colorful and animated like children’s books or even the Candyland board.
