weeks 2-7
Sorry class I have not posted here in a while. Anyway here is my work. Thanks for taking the time to view my work and hope everyone enjoyed the class.
Week 2: Silk Screen
I decided to do Ringo star and the other 3 Beatles because my mom is a big fan of their music and i thought it would be cool to show her. Also from what i understand silks screens have been done from them in the past by And Warhol. This is the best one out of the bunch.
Week 3: Digital Painting
I thought it was pretty cool how you could turn one photo into something totally different. The top photo started as a picture of colored pencils lined up and the bottom was a flower garden.
Week 4: Fractal Flames
This was by far my favorite work. i felt like i could really expand what the flame came out to be, and could use my imagination to create them. The top photo i call the dark snowflake, if you look at it, it dies look like a snowflake. the bottom sorta looks like a dragon.
Week 5: Ultra Fractal
This was another favorite of mine and the best works that came out of the class for me, in my opinion. The top photo i call sun flower, middle the white hole, and bottom psychedelia. I found the more layers you had the more objects can be made, i also found it useful to rotate certain layers than blend them together, that is how i came up with the bottom piece.
Week 6: Line Rider
<a href="http://entertainmentfans.com/linerider/" target="_blank" title="Line Rider"><img src="http://entertainmentfans.com/games/images/linerider48.jpg" border="0"></a><br>Go Play<br><a href="http://entertainmentfans.com/linerider/" target="_blank" title="Line Rider">Line Rider</a>
I don't know if that uploaded but this is my line rider i did not get him to flip but its still cool, i also couldn't get onto the liner-rider web site so i used a different version.
Week 7: Grappa
I liked how you could change the hue and saturation in Photoshop, it actually made some of the lines pop out more and the lighter and darker spots show more.
Again thank you class, i enjoyed exploring all of these different ways to computer art. Check out more at my fotothing user name Gkstyle12 thank you.
Week 8 - Featured Artist - Ciro Marchetti
Ciro Marchetti was born in Great Britain and is a president
of a design firm stationed in Miami Florida.
Ciro is a graphic designer who went to school and graduated from Croydon
College of Art. I am fascinated of the
color selection he uses for his work.
His colorful work stands out and makes you want to look at what other
masterpieces he had done. He is a collector
of several mechanical instruments and uses Photoshop to incorporate these
instruments in some of his works.

Janet Parke is a choreographer, administrator, and dance school teacher and principal at the Ballet Memphisn Tennesse. She is a fractal artist who has won many prizes for her work and whose prints have been exhibited and collected widely. She was one of the first to master the complex fractal program, UltraFractal, and provided the online fractal community with a series of tutorials on use of the program. Her fractals have stylistic integrity and are carefully composed of dramatic fractal forms enhanced by a strong, subtle palette of warm, rich colors. The fractals exhibited here were all drawn in UltraFractal.
